There are a lot of reasons to want to be the tough guy.It is a good way to avoid being picked on.It takes more than strength to be tough.

Don't be afraid to step in if you see someone being mistreated.This is a good chance for you to show how tough you are while doing the right thing.Don't bully people.It's easy to become a bully if you're bigger and tougher.Don't pick on people who are being bullied.

Don't allow others to push you.If you allow others to treat you in a certain way, they will always see you that way.If the situation calls for a fight, try to walk away.Make sure you only use physical violence to defend yourself.You don't have to fight in order to be a tough guy.If someone thinks you're tough, they'll pick a fight with you.If I fight you, I wouldn't want to hurt you.Don't egg on your opponent too much.

You shouldn't care about your health if you're trying to be tough.Make sure you shower and brush your teeth.If you don't, people will see you as dirty.If you do something that requires work around dirt, a little dirt can make you look tough.Playing a sport or working on a farm requires strength and resilience, so it's ok if you see a smudge of dirt occasionally.
Step 8: You should change your wardrobe.
It isn't hard at the time, but go shopping.If you wear old t-shirts or baggy jeans, you won't get the toughest look.You could try leather jackets or white t-shirts.A pair of jeans that fit and don't hang down can make you look tough.
