You can learn how to back up your data to Apple's cloud-based storage and apps platform.
Step 1: You can open your settings on your phone.
You can find the gray app on your home screen.
Step 2: Use the tap to access the internet.
The settings menu has it near the top.There is a need for a wi-fi connection.
Step 3: The "On" position is where "Wi-fi" should be.
It will be green.
Step 4: There is a wi-fi network.
Under the "Choose a Network" section of the menu, choose a network from the list.If prompted, enter a password.
Step 5: Open the settings.
If you're still on the settings screen, you can return to the main screen by tapping in the upper- left corner.You should launch the settings app the same way you did before.
Step 6: You can tap your Apple ID.
The section at the top of the screen contains your name and image if you've added one.Enter your Apple ID and password if you are not signed in.You may not need to do this step if you are running an older version of the software.
Step 7: Go to iCloud.
The second section of the menu has it.
Step 8: To back up iCloud data, you have to select it.
When your phone is backed up, put the buttons next to the listed apps in the "On" position.The data from apps that don't have buttons will not be backed up.
Step 9: If you scroll down, tap the iCloud backup.
It is at the bottom of the second section.
Step 10: The "iCloud Backup" should be moved to the "On" position.
It will be green.When your phone is plugged in and connected to a wi-fi network, it will back up your account.At the bottom of the menu, tap to invoke an immediate backup.
