Twitter doesn't provide such a feature, so you can't hide certain tweets from your followers. If you don't want to share a tweet with specific people, you should not share it on Twitter or you can block people that you don't want to share the tweet with them.
How do I protect my tweets from one person?
In the top menu, tap your profile photo, then tap Settings and privacy. Tap Privacy and safety. Under Audience and tagging, and next to Protect your Tweets, drag the slider to turn on.
What happens if you protect your tweets?
If you protect your Tweets, you'll receive a request when new people want to follow you, which you can approve or deny. Accounts that began following you before you protected your Tweets will still be able to view and interact with your protected Tweets unless you block them.
Should you make Twitter account private?
It should be noted that while making your Twitter account private will bar new visitors from seeing your tweets, the feature is not retroactive, meaning that followers you gained prior to changing your account to private will still be able to see your tweets.
Is all my tweets safe?
You don't need to worry about the safety of your account since AllMyTweets is an authorized account that prioritizes the security of your account. As you log in, the app will ask your authorization. Once you allow it, it will read the tweets from your timeline and will be able to see who you follow.
What happens when I protect my tweets?
After you protect your Tweets, only you and your followers can read your updates or see your Tweets in Twitter search. If you at one time had public Tweets (before protecting your Tweets), those Tweets will no longer be public or appear in public Twitter search results.
Why would you protect your tweets?
When a person's tweets are protected, all followers of that person need to be approved by that person. This works in some ways the same as approving friends and colleagues on Facebook or LinkedIn. By protecting my tweets, I would be able to fend off spammers and bots on Twitter.
Can someone reply to you if your tweets are protected?
If your Tweets are protected and you send a reply or mention, only those you've approved to view your Tweets will ever be able to see them. If you want to send Tweets such as mentions or replies to people who are not following you, unprotect your Tweets to make them public.
Can you protect specific tweets?
When you sign up for Twitter, you can choose to keep your Tweets public or protect your Tweets. Read more about the difference between public and protected Tweets. In the top menu, tap your profile photo, then tap Settings and privacy. Tap whichever icon you have and select Settings and privacy.
Can you private a single tweet?
No, not beyond sending it as a private message anyway. There is no such graduation of privacy on Twitter for your timeline - all of it is either open to the public or all of it is private / locked. The only exception is a tweet sent by direct message which is only seen by the person or persons you send it to.
