Can VSP be used at LensCrafters?
Yes, absolutely! LensCrafters accepts many insurance plans online as well as in store. And there are a handful of out-of-network accepted insurance plans, like Vision Service Plan (VSP). Vision insurance covers most of the costs for eyeglass frames, lenses, special lens coatings, contact lenses and eye exams.
Does VSP pay lenses?
You still get a $150 allowance, which you can use to purchase contacts and the contact lens exam (see question above). Once you have your contact lens fitting exam, your VSP network doctor will let you know what types of contact options are available to you.
