Can you retake PEAT exams?

Please note that purchasing an extension does not provide additional access to retake PEAT if both exams have already been completed. It will only provide access to review the completed exams and the corresponding reports. Extensions must be purchased within 30 days after PEAT expires.

When you buy PEAT you have access to two different exams as part of the purchase: a practice test and a retired NPTE form. If you purchase PEAT again, you will receive a different version of PEAT. Subsequent PEAT purchases will result in you getting the version of PEAT you purchased least recently.

The passing standard is a scaled score of 600; therefore, any score of 600 or higher is a passing score, and any score below 600 is a failing score. The number of questions that have to be answered correctly to achieve a score of 600 can change from form to form, but is generally within a one to two question range.
