- Remove all handles and locks from the drawers. Using sandpaper, sand the dressing table then wipe with a wet cloth to remove dust.
- Use masking tape to mask the back of the dressing table and inside the drawers.
- For the top coat, paint the corners and edges first.
Can you spray paint a dressing table?
I always use Krylon or Rustoleum double cover spray paint. This is the technique I used for painting this dresser and I do the same on every spray paint project. For the top of the dresser, I taped up a piece of cardboard to the base of the top, to protect the ivory and painted the top black.
