What is the difference between 14 and 18 Aida cloth?
When looking at a new counted cross stitch design, how many times have you said that?
The finished size of your project is determined by the fabric you use.You can change the fabric count and size of your picture.How do you work it out?
Pearl will be our sample chart.The design is wide and high.
The finished area was 8.2 inches by 21.1 inches, and was worked on on 14 count Aida.
If you use the calculator, you can see how big she would be if you used 18 count Aida.The overall size will be smaller if you have more fabric threads per inch.
The fabric count will be entered next.If you are younger, you might prefer the metric measurement.
Let's say we want to test it on 18 fabric threads to the inch.
The tool shows the measurement in both inches and metric for you.
If you want to work over 2 threads, you should use 28 count linen.If you divide the 28 by 2, you will get 14 stitches to the inch.
