How long does pre built PCs last?
If you are a competitive first person shooter who demands the highest resolution and settings, a rig might last up to 3 years. If you play WoW (like me) and buy 2nd tier components, you can expect 5 or more years from your system.
Do prebuilt PCs last longer?
Not really, in fact it depends on the manufacturers, most of the manufacturers does cost cutting on some thing or the other, like the thermal paste, the psu wires, but they will do just enough so that it will last you through the warranty and then some years, also the performance is satisfactory.
