Does LeetCode really help?
LeetCode is an excellent tool for honing your programming skills in preparation for your big tech interviews. However, because recruiters are looking for much more than just competent coders, we feel that LeetCode falls short in sufficiently preparing applicants to land their dream job.
What do you need to know to do LeetCode?
To start with, you have to learn a programming language. Think of it as your weapon of choice, with which you would slay the demons of interview questions. There are many available choices in the market, most popular here on LeetCode are - C++/Java closely followed by Python and then other languages follow.

Is LeetCode a waste of time?
Solving beyond 150 or so questions of medium + hard difficulty on Leetcode, is a sheer waste of time ! I would recommend not going beyond that ballpark number. I endorse most of what the top voted authors have to say on this subject.
How hard is binary search?
Binary search trees are relatively a very simple data structure. There's no particular reason you'd need to memorize how to write one from scratch but if you really understand it then you would have no problem figuring out how to write one on your own. This is true of most data structures.
Can a beginner use LeetCode?
I would consider the book to be fairly entry-level, so if you're new to technical interviews, I'd recommend starting by going through the book, even before doing LeetCode full-time.
Where did LeetCode come from?
Founded in the heart of Silicon Valley in 2015, LeetCode consists of an elite and entrepreneurial team with team members from the U.S., China, Canada, and India.
