Can you use Cointreau instead of sherry in trifle?
The good thing with a trifle is that you can add any fruit you want, feel free to experiment with a different selection of fruit. Using shop bought swiss roll takes the workload down a bit and soaking it in Cointreau gives a nice zesty/boozy flavour and is a nice alternative to traditional sherry.
