Step 5: You should trim any pieces you don't need.

Step 6: Large vegetables should be sliced in half.
If you want your food to freeze better, cut larger vegetables in half.It will make them easier to fit into your bag since they will be flatter.
Step 7: Each vegetable can be put in a plastic bag.
Each vegetable has a plastic bag that it needs to freeze.Each vegetable should be put in its own bag.The vegetable will freeze if the layer is thinner.One gallon bags may be needed for some large vegetables.
Step 8: Use a straw to remove the air from the bag.

A small gap for a straw can be left when the bag is sealed up almost all the way.Put your straw in the bag and suck the air out of your mouth.Since there is a lot of vegetables, there may be some air left in between them.You can use a vacuum to remove the air from your bags.
Step 13: Put the bag in the freezer.
Wrap the straw up all the way from the bag.Don't allow air to get back into the bag before you seal it up.The bag should have the name of the vegetable on it.You can put it in the freezer for up to 3 months.Vegetables can be left in the freezer for 4 months, but they may not taste as good.Don't thaw your vegetables before you use them.If you eat frozen vegetables raw, they may not be very good.
