Step 1: Take care of your face.
It is important to start with a clean face.Wet your face with warm water and massage a cleanser that will fit your skin type.Remove the cleanser from the water. It is not necessary to dry your face completely if you pat it with a clean towel. You want your skin to be dry.If you have oily skin, choose an oil-free formula that will deep clean and remove excess oils.If you have dry skin, choose a cream or oil-based formula that won't damage your skin.A non-irritating cream formula is a good choice for sensitive skin.Choose an oil-free formula with ingredients that fight the skin's redness and inflammation.
Step 2: A gentle scrub is what you should apply.
Take a small amount of a facial scrub and rub it on your face. It's best to massage it into your skin in upward circular motions for 30 seconds to 1 minute, paying special attention to areas where the skin is especially rough, dry, or prone to clogged pores.Rather than crushed fruit or nut shells, opt for a facial scrub that contains gentle microbeads. It will not irritate your skin.Exfoliation can be done two to three times a week if you have oily skin.If you have normal or combination skin, you can use an exfoliant up to two times a week.If you have dry or sensitive skin, you should not use exfoliants more than once a week.
Step 3: Put your face in the water and pat it dry.
After you wash your face with warm water, rub the facial scrub on your skin. Before you pat your face dry, make sure to remove all of the remnants. If you want to get rid of dead skin cells without using a mask, follow the scrub with your usual skin care products.
Step 4: The water should be brought to a boil.
Put a large saucepan with 1 to 2 cups of water on the stove.Allow the water to come to a complete boil after turning the heat to high. The water can be boiled in a tea kettle.
Step 5: Add essential oils to the water.
Remove the water from the stove when it comes to a boil.Carefully transfer the water to a large bowl, and mix in the essential oils of your choice.Allow the water to steep for a while.Adding rose and/or jasmine essential oils to the water will make your skin softer.Tea tree and Rosemary oil can be added to the water for their anti-bacterial properties.Adding grapefruit oil to the water will balance your skin.Adding lavender and/or geranium oil to the water will help soothe your skin.If you have trouble with allergies or a cold, you can add eucalyptus oil to the water. It can help with traffic.
Step 6: Hold your face over the bowl as you drape a towel over your head.
Put a large towel over your head when the water and oil have dried. If you move your head over the bowl, you will be able to see your face from the steam. The steam should be trapped and focused on your face if the towel is covering your head. You may burn your skin if you move your face too close to the steam.
Step 7: You should steam your face.
For 90 seconds to 2 minutes, hold your face over the steam.Take a break of 1 to 2 minutes. For a total of 5 steaming sessions, repeat the process. You should stop steaming your face if you find that your skin is getting too hot.
Step 8: Take care of your face and pat it dry.
You can rinse your face after steaming it with warm water.Prepare your face for a mask by washing it with a clean towel. It is not necessary to dry your face completely if you plan to use a clay mask.
Step 9: You can choose a mask that matches your skin type.
It is important to choose a face mask that suits your skin type. There are clay, gel, cream, and sheet masks that you can choose from.Clay-based masks are best for oily skin because they deep clean the skin and absorb excess oil. They are able to tighten enlarged pores. It's best to use hydrating cream masks for dry, dehydrated or mature skin. They have oils that add hydration to the skin.Gel masks are good for sensitive skin. They are usually oil-free but can still soothe the skin.Sheet masks are thin cloth or paper masks that are saturated with liquid ingredients that treat a variety of skin issues. You can find hydrating formulas.
Step 10: Take the mask off and let it dry.
Carefully apply the mask to your face with your fingers. If you want, you can spread it over your neck.It should be allowed to dry according to the instructions on the package. You need to leave the mask on for 10 to 20 minutes in most cases. You can apply the mask with a brush.A synthetic brush works well.To determine how thick or thin a layer you should apply, follow the instructions on the mask's packaging.Put the sheet mask over your face by removing it from the packaging.Press it down to make sure it sticks to your skin.Lying down is the best way to keep it from falling off.
Step 11: Put the mask on and pat it dry.
