Kyle had to go to the lake which interfered with their plan to play the Gamesphere all weekend.As soon as swimming is mentioned, a talking towel who calls himself "Towelie" comes in and reminds them to bring a towel, so they can dry off.Towelie asks the boys if they want to get high after an awkward pause.Towelie walks off when he learns the answer is no.
The boys were reminded by Kyle that they still have to go to baseball practice despite Kyle's excuse that Stan is having emotional problems.Towelie shows up while playing the game and asks them if they want to get high.Towelie walks off when they say they don't want to.They play all weekend after the boys say they are sick and can't go to baseball practice.
The boys are forced to go to school on Mondays.They are worried that the day will drag on forever because they want to play Gamesphere again.There is a car at the bus stop.The man in the car asked if the boys had seen a towel.The man yelled into a walkie-talkie and drove off when the boys asked if he was talking about Towelie.
The boys run to Stan's house, but the Gameosphere is not there.The boys will have to take Towelie to a secluded gas station at night if they want to get their Gamesphere.
Realizing that talking about towel-related subjects is the only way to get Towelie to appear, the boys say they are going to go water-skiing, and towelie shows up to give them some towel advice.The boys took Towelie to the gas station.An old man thanks the boys for bringing Towelie to him.The old man is employed by the company that made Towelie.The old man realized that the Okama Gamesphere was a trap when the boys asked for it.Towelie and the boys escaped during the fight.All towels within 1000 miles of that spot will be destroyed by the military.Two army men storm Mr. Garrison's bathroom and take a towel from his waist.Mr. Garrison leaned against the wall and begged the soldiers not to follow him.He insulted them when he found out they had left.
A fake commercial plays before the commercial break.Towelie T-shirts are advertised in the commercial.There are T-shirts that say "I hate Towelie" for people who don't like it.There is a towel that looks like Towelie that says some of his phrases.The commercial assures the audience that the merchandise will be sold soon.The dating service's phone number is shown in the commercial.
For the rest of the episode, the boys and Towelie go back and forth between a military base and the company that made towelie.Towelie plays the theme to "Funkytown" while trying to enter the base.There is a plot involving aliens trying to take over Earth and genetically modified Towelies.In spite of their utter indifference, the increasingly complicated plot continues to surround them, even though the boys say they don't care.Tynacorp realized that Towelie wouldn't blow up the military.An evil clone of a towel was released by the old man, but it was zapped by Kyle.
In the midst of a confrontation between the military and Tynacorp, the boys start playing and become oblivious to the events around them.The aliens want to rule the world so they blow up the building before they can play.There is a pool of lava.The Gamesphere is close to the lava.Each boy is holding onto another boy's ankle and Towelie is sitting on the ground at the top of the chain.
Kenny died in the lava.The boys tried to swing to the right.The towel tried to get Towelie to drop the boys by exploiting his love of getting high.Towelie was able to get high and hold onto the boys because he stretched himself and grabbed the marijuana.The towel falls into the lava after a second explosion.The boys and Towelie play a game.
