Time lapse: a door stained withclamation for grey and tan.

A few weeks ago I wanted to see the effects of different stains on White Pine, this time I used common Poplar that you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot.I uploaded the video from my channel.

I decided to do this because most big box stores don't show samples of the stain on different types of wood, this is why I did this.

The first block was the only one that I didn't apply a coat of Minwax Pre-Stain wood conditioner to.You can apply the stain of your choice after brushing it on and setting it for 20 minutes.

You will need to allow the mixture to set in the Jar for at least a day or two.It should be brushed onto the wood.

I hope this helps someone who wants to Stain Poplar, and doesn't know what color it will be.
