The track names are missing on the disc.

You should check the CD burn settings in Windows Media Player.Burn your own CDs.

CD-Text is a feature that allows for burning artist and title info to an audio CD.WMP doesn't support this.You can burn an mp3 data CD, but it won't work on most CD players.

I have never had a problem with the artist's name and song title on my burned music CDs, until the updated version of WMP.All of my older CDs were played in my car show.Tim's reply is not helpful.
