Soldier's pay entitlements are determined by a number of factors. Some factors are type, length, and location.Basic pay and some incentives are only available to soldiers who are qualified and authorized. The performance of each block is used to get the soldier to Basic Pay.The number of hours that can be performed during a day does not affect the authorized one day of Basic Pay.Basic Pay, BAH and Basic Allowance for Subsistence are always given to soldiers during AD periods. If the AD period is less than 30 days, BAH have different rates.Soldiers on AD may be eligible for additional entitlements such as Family separation Allowances, Cost of Living Allowance, special and incentive pay, and clothing monetary allowance.
Payment to the Soldier is usually made within 10 days.Payment for Battle Assemblies should be done within 24 hours of completion, and all other IDT should take no more than 72 hours. After duty performance, AD orders of 7 days or less are paid. The unit can initiate payment for AD orders of 8-29 days in advance so that the Soldier gets paid on or about the last day of duty.On the 1st and 15th of each month, AD orders of more than 30 days are paid. The appropriate personnel must be given certification of AD performance by soldiers.Failure to provide certification will result in collection of payments made during the AD period. To certify, the Soldier must provide a copy of the orders or a USAR Form 25-R with his/her signature and the signature of someone with knowledge of duty performance.Within 45 days of duty completion, the Soldier must provide certification to the UA.For AD of 30 days or more not performed on an Army Installation, the Soldiers must provide certification to the unit at the end of each month and at duty completion.
Most pay problems experienced by USAR Soldiers should be resolved by the RPAC.The Finance Division of the Regional Support Command will be contacted for pay issues they can't resolve.Soldiers can contact the Finance Division if they feel that their unit has not taken appropriate action to resolve their pay problem. The usarmy.usarc.63-rsc.mbx. special-pay-inquiry@mail.mil is for the 63rd Readiness Division.
