The daytime running lights and low beams don't work on a 2004 chev.
The low beam headlights on my car don't work. Both of them went out at the same time.I replaced the bulbs even though I didn't think they could go out at the same time. They are all good. What can I do to fix this problem? My truck has a head light problem. There is a 4.2 inline six.Repairs for this problem were to replace the headlight bulbs.
The common problem is a faulty headlamp relay if the fuses are good and the high beams work correctly. There is a picture below. The relay is in the hood.It is labeled "HDM" a lot of the time. There is a picture below. This applies to 2003 and 2005 as well.
Most people don't know this is for the headlamps. If you want to check that, you can swap it with the same type relay that is right next to it.Turn the key off, swap relays, and turn the head light switch on.They replace the bad relay. It costs about the same.$35.
I adore you guys.I've been driving with my lights on for two weeks. It only took me 10 minutes to fix it, and I didn't break a nail.I feel like I can do anything after fixing this. Thanks!
I had the same problem with low beams as the 2002 GMC envoy.Checked the fuses but no luck.Look on here and immediately go to the garage and do what the pictures showed.I will buy that little thing now. Thanks for saving me money.
I was at a lot of sites and no one seemed to know what the problem was or how much money was spent on it.People try to get money for easy solutions.Thank you for saving me so much time and money.
Your website came up when I looked up "both headlights went out on a chevy blazer 2006".Five minutes after I read it to my husband, he said it was the problem.Thank you so much.
I have the same problem with my 2004 car. There was a check of the fuses. The lights worked after I switched the things shown in the picture. The lights are still working after the swap back in the original position.
I was going to take the car to the dealer to have it fixed, but was afraid of the bill, thinking it was an electrical problem.I looked at the relays after changing the bulb.I didn't know about this part. The problem was solved by the 2006 Chevrolet Trail blazer.
The headlights were from 2004.I don't have to pay someone to check my headlights.Thank you.
