The tractor that cost $2,000 in1953 was manufactured from 1939-1953.The second letter series tractor was manufactured by International Harvester.It's a great fit for mid-sized row crop farmers because it has a five-speed gearbox and 24hp overhead valve engine.

534,000 were produced from 1947-1952, and the tractor cost $1,406 in 1952.This model accounted for 25% of all tractor production in the U.S.For the last five years, sales averaged more than 400 a day.

My grandpa's old M still gets put to use occasionally.This model was listed in the top 10.

During this time period, 270,140 tractors were made, and the Model M was produced from 1939-1952.In 1952 the cost of this tractor was $2,400.The largest row crop tractor that International Harvester made at that time was the first diesel tractor of its kind.

The tractor cost $10,345 in 1972.From 1963- 1972 a total of 184,879 were made.The 4020 had more power and an optional power shift transmission.
