The Thanksgiving tradition of filling a turkey with stuffing for the dinner table is something that many people love.Remove the giblets before stuffing the turkey.If you fill the cavity with your favorite stuffing recipe, you can bake it in the oven for a delicious holiday meal.
Step 1: Take your turkey out of its packaging.
Remove any small pinfeathers that may have been left behind when the turkey was plucked.

Step 3: Sprinkle salt and pepper on your turkey.
The outside of the turkey should be covered with your seasonings.
Step 4: Put your stuffing recipe together.
Cook your vegetables, meat, and seafood in your stuffing to make sure it uses only cooked ingredients.You'll need to use pasteurized eggs if you use eggs.
Step 5: You should preheat your oven to 325 F.
If you want to fit your stuffed turkey into the oven after it's prepared, position your oven rack.
Step 6: Stuff the neck of your turkey.
Lift the wings up and over the closed flap if you fold the neck flap down.The wings will hold the flap in place.
Step 7: The body is filled with stuffing.
The stuffing may not cook completely if you pack it too tightly.
Step 8: The turkey legs should be Tucked inside the skin flap.
Take the flap of skin at the bottom of the body and pull it up so that you can tuck the drumsticks inside.While it cooks, this will help hold the stuffing inside.You can use kitchen twine to tie the legs together.
Step 9: The turkey should be cooked until it reaches an internal temperature of 180 F.
Put the turkey in the oven on the lowest rack and let it cook for 3-6 hours.The temperature inside should be 74 C.If you want to know the temperature of the turkey when you think it is done, put a meat thermometer in the thigh.The temperature of the stuffing can be tested with the thermometer.
Step 10: Take the turkey out of the oven and let it rest.
Allow the bird to rest for 20 minutes by placing a tent over it.
Step 11: The stuffing should be removed from the turkey.
You can serve the stuffing alongside the turkey if you put it in a clean bowl.It should be moist from soaking up the turkey's juices.
Step 12: Your guests will be treated to a perfectly roasted turkey.
