The techniques of soccer and basketball can be used to create a unique and competitive game that is popular in Europe. Each team has to shoot, dribble, and pass a ball in order to score goals over the other team. You have to score against your opponent with the help of one, two, three, or four walls if you want to play singles or doubles in America. If you want to learn how to play either version of the game, see Step 1 below.
Step 1: The court is familiar to you.
The court is large enough for a team to play on.The court has a goal area line, also known as the crease, where only the goalie is allowed to stand. The goal is 2 meters high and 3 meters wide.If a player releases the ball before landing, they can jump into the goal area. The free-throw line is marked by a semi-circle that is 9 meters from the goal. The center line is also known as the half court line.Get familiar with the ball as well. The ball is made of leather. The women's ball is 54–56 cm wide and 23.6 cm tall, while the mens' is 58–60 cm Wide and 18.6 cm Tall.
Step 2: You should form a team.
Each team can have seven players on the court at any one time. Each team has a goalie and six court players. There are 12 players in America and 14 in England who can dress and play in a game.Just as in basketball, volleyball, or other sports with substitute players, the additional players can substitute for the players on the court. There are different roles for the non-goalie players during the game. The uniforms are numbered 1-20.Each goalie wears a different color to stand out from the other teammates, while the players wear the same color shirts and shorts. There are two referees for the goal and the court in official games.Their decisions are final.
Step 3: Understand the game's goal.
The ball is thrown into the opposing team's goal to score points. The team with the most points wins the game.Unless you're playing a tournament, a game can end in a tie.The teams play periods of overtime if the game is tied after time runs out.A team can score a goal after the entire ball crosses the goal line. You can score a goal from any type of throw, which means the goal-throw, free- Throw, Throw-in, or throw-off.
Step 4: You should play for the correct length of time.
The game is played in two 30-minute halves and a 10 minute break in between. The games are played in two 15-minute or 20-minute halves. The running time of the game is marked. Each team can only have one time-out per half if there is an injury. The teams change benches at half-time.
Step 5: Understand how the field players do their jobs.
The players can touch the ball with all parts of their body above the knee.If they have the ball, they only have three seconds to stay in place, and they can only move for three steps. The ball goes to the other team if they don't follow the rules. The players have to make a decision on whether to shoot the ball or dribble it.A player can dribble the ball for as long as he wants, but only if he keeps his hand on it.He still gets the three steps/three seconds rule after dribbling. The ball goes to the other team if he dribbles again.Carrying the ball into the crease, setting an illegal screen, and charging are some of the offenses a player can commit.
Step 6: Understand the different ways to throw.
The throw-off is where you need to know about the different throws in the game. The game begins with a throw-off.In the center of the court is where the throw-off takes place. The thrower has to touch the middle line with one foot while the other players stay in their own half. The team that wins the coin toss will throw the ball. After the whistle blows, the player with the ball in the center of the court passes it to a teammate. The opposing team gets the ball when a goal is scored. There is a throw-off after the half-time break. The throw-in.The team that doesn't touch the ball last gets a throw-in.The free-throw.There is an interruption in play and a free-throw is given. When one player is holding, pushing, hitting, tripping or hurting the other team's player, play can be interrupted. The referee throws the ball. When multiple rules are broken and the ball touches anything above the court, a referee throws it.In this situation, the referee stands at center court and throws the ball between two players of opposing teams, and they must jump and grab it or tap it to a member of their own team. The other members of the team must be at least 3 meters away from the throw. The throw is over 7 meters. This throw is given when a foul destroys a clear chance to score, the goalie carries the ball back to his own area, a court player plays a ball to their own goalie, or a defensive player enters the goal area. The player who takes the throw has three seconds to shoot the ball. The goal is thrown. This one is given if the ball is thrown over the end line by the team that is attacking or if it bounces off the goalie. The goalie does not have to follow the three step/3 second rule if he throws the ball from his area.
Step 7: Understand the rule violations.
There are many ways to commit a rule violation. If one team commits a violation, the other team gets the ball. The different violations are passive play.Keeping the ball within one team's possession is what this means.stalling with the ball is what it means. An opponent with the ball.Pulling, hitting, or punching the ball of an opponent's hand.Making contact with the ball. There is a ball on the floor.Out stretching your arms or legs to push, hold, obstruct, trip, or hit the opponent or to charge into a defensive player.
Step 8: Understand how progressive punishment works.
These punishments occur when something that a player does warrants more than just a free-throw, such as any rule violations that are aimed at an opponent instead of the ball.A warning/yellow card is one of the stages of progressive punishments. Each player can only get one warning for a rule violation, and each team only gets three warnings.A brief suspension. This is given for rule violations, illegal substitution, and unsportsmanlike conduct. You don't need a warning to get a violation. For this violation, the player sits out for 2 minutes and is not replaced, so his team has to play one player short.Disqualification is a red card. This is an equivalent of three suspensions that last 2 minutes each. The player can be replaced after the first suspension.Exclusion.The player is excluded from the rest of the game for assault. This is a serious offense and this player's team is at a huge disadvantage because it has to play one player short for the rest of the game.
Step 9: Make your game better.
The most important thing you can do is to keep playing, because there are many tips and tricks that can help you.As you improve your game, you should work on passing the ball to your teammates as much as possible. This is quicker than dribbling and can get you to the goal in less time.Keeping your hands up while defending will help you block shots as well as pass the ball to the other team. When dribbling, use one hand to dribble and the other to shield the ball from the opposing team.Just keep practicing! The more you play, the better.
Step 10: If you are playing Chinese or American you should make a decision.
The games are played with a smaller ball.Street games are usually played with a big ball, which is about the size of a racquetball. The game can be played by two players, three players or four players. In Chinese, the players bounce the ball against the ground before hitting the wall, while in American, it doesn't bounce. It is the other player's turn to serve if it doesn't make it in one bounce.
Step 11: You have to decide on your rules.
If you want DBA (double bounce American, where if it bounces twice, you must hit it American), you have to choose between the two. When the opponent is allowed to distract you but not interfere with the ball, or if you're on a team with someone, you might want team saves. This also applies to self-saves.You can save for either team or yourself. You could call it Kings, just hitting it.Don't forget about "slams", where you can hit it hard.
Step 12: You should play until you win.
If you're playing a more casual game, a player can win the game if he scores 7 points. When the opponent has zero points the entire time, there is usually a set score for the game. When playing to 7 the set score is 5.A player throws the ball either Chinese or American after the set score is decided. The other person has to hit it.The person who gets the ball first is decided by this. The person who misses the ball after it bounces twice won't serve first. The game continues even though there is no volley.
