Mazda enhanced diagnostics are available for 2020 and 2021.After you download the update on the Settings > Purchase Extras page and connect to your Mazda vehicle, you need to press the Rescan Supported PIDs button to get the supported enhanced picures picures. The Logging Control option can be changed to Manual on the settings page. When logging control is set to manual mode, you can start and stop logging by pressing the menu button on the Logs > Files page. When logging control is set to automatic mode, CSV logging will start when you connect to the vehicle.
This app and the add-on for my vehicle family were purchased by me.The app recommended a scanning device. This app was recommended by its site.I got them both because it sounded like the perfect combination.I think the tool is very good. The app gathers the required data and the vendor adds extensions. It seems to be able to collect the full set. They may require the purchase of add-ons within the app.If you want to see the data in a different way, you can add more screens and instruments.Looking into the settings, I can't imagine there's anything missing. I'll add another plug for this pair. The only one that doesn't use wi-fi is the Veepeak. It connects using a wireless technology. You don't pair it.You can connect with it directly. It's important that this makes setup very easy and that it leaves your data untouched and available.Very nice.
This works well with my device. The information helped me when buying a used car by showing me the error codes, which I showed the dealer. He gave us a new battery with no change in the price of the car.It doesn't connect with the phone. The connection is lost when the phone is turned off.The data doesn't seem to have been saved. The data for the first car is lost when I use it on another car.I have to re-enter the information when I change cars because it "forgets" vehicles. It would be nice to be able to download the information to a desktop for storage.
Customer support and their ability to respond to reviews to address concerns show they are aware and engaged in making the app better. There are additional PIDs for ford andgm when you go through the menus. This would be a deal breaker for me if those weren't available.I'll switch to the app if it proves to be as accurate as dash command, as long as it's updated regularly and looks modern.
