It's an easy surface to clean and it doesn't need much care.Household products are designed to keep surfaces clean.More difficult food and liquid stains will come up with relative ease.
Step 1: It's a good idea to wipe up spills quickly.
If addressed immediately, most spills can be handled with relative ease.Use damp paper towels or a wash rag on spills, and clean crumbs with a mini broom or by wiping them away with your hand.
Step 2: Prepare the solution.
If you weren't able to address a spill immediately, you can use one of any number of standard household cleaners after checking the back label to make sure they are compatible with laminate.If you don't have a solution, you can mix soap with warm water or add 2–4 ounces of vinegar to a cup of water.The majority of standard cleaners are compatible.It usually tolerates everything from soap to bleach.If you're unsure about a cleaning solution, try it out in a hidden spot.
Step 3: It's a good idea to wash the laminate.
To clean the laminate, use a non-abrasive sponge or towel.Spread your sponge over the laminate if you are using your own solution.Before scrubbing, allow it to sit and soak.If you are using a pre mixed solution, spray it over the laminate and let it sit for a while before scrubbing.Use a toothbrush to scrub the metal.
Step 4: It should be washed with water.
You should rinse the surface with water once you have washed it.Warm water and a soft towel are good for this.
Step 5: The laminate needs to be dried.
If you want, you can use a soft dry towel.If you want to see whether or not there are any remaining stains, you can dry it yourself.You are done if there aren't any stains left.
Step 6: Baking soda should be mixed into a paste.
Slowly add water to a bowl of baking soda and mix it.You don't want the paste to be too dense.It should be thick.
Step 7: The paste needs to be applied to the stain.
Put paste on the stain.A layer of paste should cover the stain.Put a paper towel on top of the area.
Step 8: Take the paste and let it soak in.
For at least an hour, leave the stain alone.Baking soda will take some time to remove the stain.
Step 9: The paste should be wiped away.
If you don't want to scrub the surface, gently wipe it clean.Baking soda can be abrasive so you don't want to mess with it.This should take care of your stain most of the time.
Step 10: Any remaining stain should be washed with a gentle solvent.
A solvent like paint thinner or nail polish remover can be used to remove stains.Carefully scrub with a soft towel after applying one of these.The solvent could cause the colors to bleed if you use a white cloth or towel.
