What is a dream? Is brain activity unexplained?Do you see a movie projected into your mind?Could your dreams be the doorway to another reality where the past, present, and future exist together and pave the way for unlimited possibilities?Shamanism is an ancient tribal practice. In order to access healing wisdom, speak to the dead, or learn about the souls of the living, shamans would undertake mystical journeys. The mystical journeys of the Shamans can be translated into a modern method of accessing knowledge through dreams.
Step 1: Go to your local bookstore.
There are books on shamanistic practices and beliefs. In ancient societies, shamans traveled to the spirit world to bring back answers. You should keep your eyes open while you visit the bookstore. You have begun your journey. This is the first Shamanistic mission for you. What knowledge can you bring back?Did you learn anything new?Did an interesting person speak to you?Did you notice anything different? If it appears in a dream, enter it.
Step 2: You need to look for proof.
The universe is alive, conscious, and connected according to the shaman. There is proof of these beliefs in your daily life.Do you think your coffee grinder has a soul?Does the butterfly on your window remind you of someone? Are you connected to the plant that needs water in your office?Acknowledge the feelings and connections. It is possible that this beings will visit you in your dreams. You can acknowledge the beingness of animals and objects by greeting them.Say hello to the coffee grinder.Thank you for making my day better. It will be easier to continue this practice as you sleep if you find this proof during the day.
Step 3: It's time to recognize synchronicity.
It's not a coincidence that almost nothing in life is.The Universe says that you are on the right track when you encounter synchronicity.Synchronicities can be clues for what to look for in a dream. It is possible to see the same person as a variety of unrelated locations. At the exact same time as someone else.Don't ignore a synchronistic moment.Stop and pay attention to it.Write it down. There are certain things that cross the threshold between waking and dream.Did you see a person in real life or in a dream?Try to talk to them in a dream.
Step 4: You can play in the glow zone.
Begin your journey in dream practice by sleeping and waking up at the same time.As you lie in bed and prepare for sleep, direct your mind and imagination to fertile places for shamanism. You have been laying the groundwork for these messages.Go back to the bookstore.Who spoke to you?Imagine a scenario where they give you advice. You can picture yourself entering the store. The bookstore could be a gateway to the Upper Level.Do you remember any proof you encountered recently? The coffee grinder seemed to be alive.Listen to the sound of the motor. Can you hear the hum? What could a coffee grinder tell you? There was a synchronicity that happened to you.Don't forget the details. How did you feel about the situation? As you drift into sleep, can you relive the experience?Imagine a staircase using the classic approach. As much detail as you can, visualize it.Imagine yourself ascending it as you drift into sleep. As you drift into sleep, this will allow you to enter the Upper Level.Think about what you want to know. When you pass through the threshold between waking and dream worlds, ask a question about yourself, your future, or your ancestors.
Step 5: The symbols to look for are:
You will need to learn the language of your dreams in order to get wisdom from them.Track common symbols.Take notice of the symbols and patterns. There are two types of symbols.Archetypical symbols have an impact on generations and cultures.Animals, the elements, and the stars are some of the things.Personal symbols are specific to you, your experience, and your family.Did your grandfather get hit by lighting? You can use lighting as a powerful symbol. There are times when symbols can be both. You already know that the divine uses symbol systems.Do you know anything about any forms of religious practice? You may see these symbols in your dreams.
Step 6: Track your dreams across the three levels.
There are three levels of dreams, or three dream worlds.Do you like one in particular? When you switch, do you notice a pattern?Intellectual and spiritual knowledge are linked to the Upper Level. There are libraries, sunlight, and open skies in Upper Level dreams. The Middle Level is where most dreaming takes place. The waking world is very similar to the Middle World. The least Shamanic insight will be found at this level. The Journey Level is linked to the Lower Level.Nature and animals will be in Lower Level dreams. You can aim to get specific knowledge when the conditions are right if you know when you are prone to dream on a specific level.
Step 7: Practice reality checks daily.
You must be awake while still dreaming in order to engage with the wisdom of your dreams. You have to be aware that you are dreaming while you sleep.Getting into the practice of regularly asking yourself whether or not you are dreaming is a simple way to induce lucid dreaming.By routinely asking yourself if you are dreaming, you will be able to extend this practice while you sleep. It will be obvious that you are dreaming when you ask yourself this question in a dream. There is a path to shamanistic dreaming.
Step 8: You can learn to identify dream signs.
There are a number of signs that indicate that you are dreaming. Many of these apply to most people, but in time you will recognize the signals most relevant to you. These signals can encourage you.The technological devices will often malfunction.Your hands are often strange. It's possible that your reflection in a mirror looks different.Ask yourself if you are dreaming or awake when you encounter one of these tip-offs.
Step 9: The use of audio stimulation is recommended.
Traditional Shamans use drumming to induce a state of being. You can use this method by listening to beats while you sleep. For use with headphones, binaural beats play different frequencies in each ear. These beats induce a meditative state and have been shown to encourage sleep.
Step 10: Understand the symbolism of the shamans.
It is time to get deeper messages once you become effective atwaking up.You have been looking for symbols in your dreams. It is time to read them.If your grandfather was struck by lighting, lighting may be an important symbol to you.Light may signify inspiration if you are inspired by your grandfather's story.Light may signify fear or caution if you are terrified of storms. The lighting can be a symbol.Greek, Norse, and Hindu Gods are linked to it.It can symbolize loss of innocence or punishment from the Gods. What did you think when you saw lighting in the dream? This can help you understand the symbol. After you wake from a dream, practice this interpretation. You will be able to perform this analysis in the future.
Step 11: Determine which level you want to be at.
Remember the three levels?Determine which of the three levels you are functioning on when you become lucid in a dream. You can find a door or passage way on the Middle Level. There are stairs.Go through it if you can find a portal. It is likely to lead to an upper or lower level. If you find yourself on an Upper Level, keep an eye out for any messages about your connection to the divine, your quest for knowledge, or your after life.Ancestors will often visit you on this level. If you find yourself on the Lower Level, keep an eye out for messages about your primordial being. You can find out about your deepest needs and desires at this level. You may be spoken to by animals or your unborn children.
Step 12: Get a good night's sleep.
You have to remember dreams in order to get the Shamanistic insights. An adequate number of hours of sleep is the first step.Your period of REM sleep will grow longer as the night goes on, giving you more information to hold on to.After 8 hours of sleep, dream periods can last up to 45 minutes. It is possible that dreams that happen later in the night contain more value.
Step 13: You should keep a dream journal.
Have you ever woken up with a dream only to have it slip away? When you wake up, write down your thoughts on paper and pen. This practice will allow you to recall your dreams without having to write them down. You can analyze your dreams later if you have a record of them.
Step 14: Begin a meditation practice.
By meditating during the day, you will strengthen your mind's ability to relax into a successful dream-state, as well as your capacity to retain the messages of your dreams.A simple way to engage in a meditation practice is with guided audio meditation. If you don't like guided meditation, simply sit quietly and take deep breaths. If you want the best results, meditate every day.
Step 15: Remove alcohol from your body before you sleep.
Consuming alcohol will reduce the amount of time you spend in REM sleep. If you have time to sleep in the next morning, you can make up for lost REM sleep.
Step 16: A positive affirmation can be used.
Say "I always remember my dreams" before you go to sleep. This will help you remember more about dreaming and symbolism. You will be able to remember your dreams in the future.
