Is the 99 cents for 3 months of spotify premium a lie?

I was on my free spotify account and saw an ad for a premium for students that was only.49 cents for three months and included some other streaming services.I signed up because I thought that was a great deal.I received an email saying I had been charged 4.99 for one month of spotify premium, but I don't know if it's a lie.I couldn't find a customer service number to call when I tried to talk to the robot.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's odd.I know that spotify has a students premium for half the price.I have never heard of a deal like that.If you paid for something and they charged you $4.99, email spotify.
