Is it normal to have crown Molding in a bathroom?

My builder and I walked through my house about a week before the trim carpenter got started, and we agreed that the crown moulding should be a cove and a cradle, making it a two-piece moulding and about 4-5" tall.It's all paint-grade poplar.

I didn't think they would put crowns in the bathroom upstairs.I thought we were talking about the big rooms.

The carpenters put the two-piece crown moulding in every room in which they can stand upright, except for the small closets and the laundry room.They wrapped the crown around the showers.

It looks weird to me since I have never had crown moulding in the bathroom, but my husband wants me to leave it because I would be tearing out a lot of work.

What do you think?There is a huge room with a high ceiling in the master bath.There is a room that is five feet by eight feet and I have a hard time with it.

The crown is in the smaller baths in my house, which is about 50 years old.

If it doesn't fit with the style of the room, leave it.It's your call if it drives you crazy.

I have a simple crown in my kid's bathroom.Nothing fancy.There is tile on the walls to the ceiling.There were no issues.

I have a crown in the master bath, but the shower is tiled on all six sides of the cube.There was no crown in the shower.

If it makes you feel better, I have a run of seven-piece built-up crown in a public powder room on the first floor of the house.

I would be surprised to see that.An excellent builder would be able to give that kind of attention to a small room.I have a crown in two of my bathrooms and the smallest is 5x8 and we added it years after it was built.

I have a 5 x 8 bath ceiling.Timbron is a product made from recycled styrofoam.The small bathroom has crown molding.
