Is Esme Island a real place?
Isle Esme is the location of Edward and Bella's honeymoon and is used by the Cullens as a remote vacation spot.
The island is covered in vegetation and looks like a triangle from a distance. It is surrounded by warm, tropical waters and has palm trees. There is a place where she can play with dolphins. It lies far out at sea from the city and is reached by boat.
Isle Esme is one of the few bloopers in the movie. The book said the island was west of Rio.Rio faces the Atlantic Ocean to its east, so the Island can't be to the west.
Locals clean and look after the property on Isle Esme. There is a large home with an open floor plan, multiple bedrooms, large windows, and electricity and plumbing. The Casa Em Paraty Resort was used to film the honeymoon scenes.A home similar to the one described in the book is located in a remote resort on the coast of Brazil. There are images of the interior here.
