Builder gel is used when you want to create length, thickness or add strength to the nail. It's much stronger than regular gel polish base coats, and the formula is a much thicker consistency to a normal base coat. They have high self-levelling properties which ensure a smooth foundation layer.
Can you use base gel as builder gel?
Using Builder Base as a gel polish base coat. If the clients nails are thin and easily bend we recommend applying 1 layer of our regular gel polish base coat first before your builder base layer. Then simply apply your gel colour coats as normal. Simple.

Do you put base coat first?
After cleaning your nail surface from the old nail color, apply the base coat. When applying base coat, color and top coat, let each coat dry first before applying the next coat. Base coat needs to be dry before applying color, otherwise it will chip. You may think this process will be time-consuming.
Do you put base before builder gel?

Do you have to cure ASP gel polish?
A: You need an Ultra Violet light to cure the polish after each step. There is a base coat, the polish, then a top coat to apply. After the last coat there needs to be a solution to wipe off the 'tackiness' of the gel.
Why is my asp gel polish not curing?
It sounds like the gel-polish is not fully cured. It is also possible that you are applying the gel-polish too thick. When gel-polish is applied too heavy, the UV light cannot penetrate through the entire layer to cure it properly. Uncured gel-polish can cause the top coat to dull and also get wiped away with cleanser.
