I found out how to fix a toro lawn mower that dies after starting.
The Model 120000 Quantum 675 Series lawn mower is powered by a 190cc engine.February 2011.For a lawn mower.
After a few seconds, my engine dies.I took the float bowl off and cleaned it out. There were pieces of a gel substance in the bowl.I blew out the float bowl after removing it.The float and needle valve were taken.I have checked the fuel lines. It does the same thing if you put it back together.Any suggestions??
I found a solution that worked for me after this happened to me.I pressed the fuel pump button many times before starting the lawn mower. The mower wouldn't run longer than a few seconds, but as I kept doing that it started and now runs as a brand new one.It was stuck in the garage for the entire winter and probably got stuck because of the petrol that was left in it, but constantly trying to start it.Give it a try.
I have a lawn mower that will mow a 15-20 foot strip ifprimed.I prime it again and it starts and can mow a 15-20 foot strip.I can do this over and over again.
Same thing here.I have tried all the fixes on the internet and it is getting frustrated.Someone has a fix.
I found this video.I am not sure if it is my problem or not, but I have not seen anything like it yet.Hopefully it helps you.I'm going to try mine now.
Problem solved.I pulled out the float and needle valve and put it back together after using an air hose to blow it out.The jet was not moving when I pulled the bowl. After blowing it out, I put the bowl back on and it works as new.
If the air filters haven't been cleaned in a long time, that can cause this. The engine might not be getting enough air if they're clogged.Either clean or replace them.
I have a suzuki engine that will cut 10 to 15 foot stripp stalls.
