Any outfit that features a hoodie makes it look chic and comfortable. If you are thinking of tying a scarf around your neck, you might be concerned about the added bulk. You can wear a bulky scarf under your hood to look stylish on a cold day.
Step 1: All the way up your hoodie.
If you don't put your hood on yet, make sure your hoodie is closed all the way up to your neck. This will keep the heat in and won't add bulk to your outfit. If you don't have a zip on your hoodie, you can just pull it on.Silk scarves are usually thin.
Step 2: The scarf should be folded in half.
If you want to have a looped side in one of your hands, you need to fold your scarf in half.If your scarf looks unbalanced, make sure the fold is relatively even.Start with a flat scarf and then fold it in half so that you have 2 smaller loops.
Step 3: The scarf should be wrapped around your neck with a loop.
If you drape your scarf over your neck, the looped end is on one side and the hanging ends are on the other side.If you want your scarf to look even on either side, put it on your neck.Pull the 2 small loops on the scarf over your neck.
Step 4: Pull the scarf through the loop.
The looped end of the scarf should be grabbed in one hand. The scarf should fit against your neck if you pull the hanging ends through the loop.flatten the back part of the scarf to make it less bulky on the neck
Step 5: The scarf should be hung over the hoodie.
Pull the ends of the scarf out of your torso to cover your hoodie. If you want your outfit to look even, make sure the scarf is mostly centered. If you don't have a zip on your hoodie, try to make your scarf by aligning it with the pocket.Make sure the 2 small loops are even by adjusting your scarf.
Step 6: Put your hood up.
Pull your hood up over your head. This covers your ears and neck to keep you warm.If you don't want to put your hood on, you can wear a hat.
Step 7: Put the hood up and zip up your hoodie.
It is a good idea to put bulkier scarves on the outside of the hoodie to not add a lot of fabric to your hood.Attach the hood to your hoodie and zip it up.If you don't have a zip on your hoodie, just pull it on and keep the hood up.
Step 8: You should drape your scarf over your neck with one side longer than the other.
Place your scarf around your neck by grabbing it in both hands. The left side of the scarf should be moved downward so that it is twice as long as the right side.It doesn't have to be exact.
Step 9: Wrap the long side around your neck.
By the end, grab the left side of your scarf. The scarf is wrapped around your neck when you pull it up and down.If you throw your scarf over your shoulder, it will reach your other side.
Step 10: The scarf should be adjusted so that the hanging sides are even.
The ends of the scarf should be the same length. The area around your neck needs to be comfortable and not too tight. You might get stuck if you try to take off your hood or hoodie without taking your scarf off.
