How To Turn Off Web Guard

Web Guard, an optional feature offered to T-Mobile wireless subscribers, blocks access to websites that feature adult content, such as those with information about violence, guns, pornography, and drugs.If you're not happy with Web Guard, you can turn it off using the T-Mobile website or app.The primary account holder can turn off Web Guard.

Step 1: You can open the T-Mobile app on your phone.

If you don't have the T-Mobile app installed, you can download it from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Step 2: You need your T-Mobile account information to log in.

You can sign up for T-Mobile if you haven't set up your account and password yet.To change the Web Guard settings, you need to be the account holder.

Step 3: The Menu button is in the upper- left corner.

This will open the menu in the app.

Step 4: "Profile settings" can be found from the menu.

Your account information will be shown.

Step 5: You can tap the "Family Controls" option.

You will have to scroll down to find it.

Step 6: tap "Save" if you want to remove any restrictions.

The Web Guard restrictions will be disabled by this.

Step 7: You can visit the T-Mobile website on your computer.

You can visit account.t-mobile.com from your browser.

Step 8: You must have a T-Mobile ID to log in.

To continue, you'll need to enter your T-Mobile ID and password.Click the "Sign Up" link if you don't have one yet.You have to be the account holder in order to change the settings.

Step 9: You can click on "Profile" in the upper left corner.

This will open your settings.

Step 10: You can choose the "Family Controls" option.

You may have to scroll down to find it.

Step 11: "No Restrictions" can be found in the Web Guard section.

Web Guard will be disabled when you click "Save".
