You won't be able to email a large video file to your friend because most email file attachments are limited.Luckily, there are other ways to share large video files.
Step 1: If you have to, you can go to drive.google.com in a web browser.
The space on every account is free.You can find the mobile app on your home screen, in the app drawer or by searching.The app icon has a triangle with yellow, blue, and green arms.If you don't have the app installed, you can get it for free from the App Store and Play Store.
Step 2: Click or tap the button.
You can see a multi-colored plus sign if you use a mobile device.
Step 3: You can either click or tap.
You could see instead.You can find your large video file by opening your file browser.
Step 4: Click or tap on your file to navigate.
It can take a few moments for your file to be uploaded.
Step 5: Your file should be shared.
You can either send a link to the file to another person or send an email to them.Click on the file you want to share.The file will highlight in blue if it has been selected.The share icon looks like a person's outline.You can find this icon in the icon menu next to a chain-link and an eye and trash can.You can either type in their email address or copy the link to the file from your clipboard.To share a filename on mobile, tap the three-dot menu to the right.To send a link in an email, tap and type the email address and the airplane icon.
Step 6: Go to www.youtube.com to sign up.
The videos can be as long as 15 minutes.You only need to verify your account to be able to upload longer videos.A notification on the app or website will prompt you to complete the verification process if your account isn't yet verified.You can use the mobile app on your home screen or in the drawer.If you don't have the mobile app installed, you can get it for free from the App Store and the Play Store.
Step 7: You can click the video camera icon.
Next to your profile image you'll see this in the top right of the browser.The camera icon can be found in the top right corner of the mobile app.
Step 8: Click to download the video.
You can choose the video to be uploaded from the page.The video can be uploaded to the app from your gallery.
Step 9: The privacy settings for your video should be set.
You will get a menu drop-down if you click on.You can choose either Public, Unlisted, Private, or Scheduled.You can find the privacy settings in the mobile app.To see more of the menu, you may have to move up from the bottom.
Step 10: Drop your video in the browser.
You can open a file browser by clicking the main window.There are supported file types.The video will start uploading as soon as you select a video or drop one into the browser.You can add filters or modify your video in the app.When uploading the video, tap the airplane icon in the top right corner of the app.
Step 11: Information about your video can be entered.
The video name, description, and tags are included.Clicking one of the suggestions below the text fields will give you a thumbnail for your video.You can add more information to your video by clicking through the tabs.You can see a preview and video link on the left.The video's link can be copied here.
Step 12: Click Done.
The website has an Upload Complete page with a thumbnail and link to your video.You can share that link with your friends.When your video is done uploading, you will be directed to your uploaded videos in the app.To get a link or share the video via email, you need to tap the three-dot menu icon.
Step 13: If you have to, go to the website in a web browser.
There is 2GB of space for every account.If you want more space, you can pay a monthly fee of $9.99 for 2TB of space from Dropbox.You can find the mobile app on your home screen or in the app drawer.The blue background on the app icon looks like an open white box.If you don't have the app installed, you can get it for free from the App Store or the Play Store.
Step 14: You can either click or tap on the icon.
If you are using a mobile device, you will see a blue plus sign before you can tap.You can find a large video file in your file browser.
Step 15: Click or tap on your file to navigate.
It can take a few moments for your file to be uploaded.
Step 16: You can share your file.
You can share via email, a link, in chat, or in zoom.The button appears when you hover over the file, but you can also click to select multiple files.You can click to open a box where you are prompted to share via email, but you can also send a link to the file at the bottom of the box.To get the options to share, click the arrow next to it.To share a filename on mobile, tap the three-dot menu to the right.Then tap.You can either opt-in or out of the search and sync feature.You can either type an email address or create a link for the file to be shared.
