You can learn how to add a second email address to your primary Yahoo account.You can use a secondary Yahoo ID for the same inbox if you do this.To create your second email address, you will need to use a computer.
Step 1: You can open Yahoo's website.
Go to a website.This will open Yahoo's home page.
Step 2: You should open your inbox.
If prompted, enter your Yahoo email address and password in the upper-right corner of the page.If you've recently joined Yahoo, you don't have to enter your email address and password.
Step 3: Click on the settings you want to modify.
It's on the right side of the Yahoo inbox.There is a drop-down menu.
Step 4: Click more settings.
The drop-down menu has this near it.
Step 5: Click on the Mailboxes tab.
The page is on the left side.
Step 6: The "Email alias" heading can be clicked to the right.
There are options in the "Mailbox management" column.
Step 7: Click to add.
It is under the "Email alias" heading.The email address form is on the right side of the page.
Step 8: Your second email address should be added.
Click the "Your Email" text field and type in the email address you want to use, followed by "@Yahoo.com".To use "humpbackwhale" as your email handle, you would need to type it into the "Your Email" field.You can use letters, numbers, underscores, and a period in your email address.There are no other characters that can be used.You can only change your name twice per year, so make sure you type in the email address you really want.
Step 9: Click it to set it up.
The button is below the email address you entered.You'll be taken to the setup page if your preferred email address is available.If the email address that you entered is already taken, you'll be prompted to choose another.
Step 10: You can enter a name.
Click the "Your Name" text field at the top of the page and type in the name you want other people to see when you send an email from this address.
Step 11: Click Finish to finish.
It's at the bottom of the page.The second email address will be added to your account.When you click the "From" field to compose an email, you can choose your email alias in the drop-down menu that appears.
