You can use a feature of Windows called Windows Sandbox if you want to check out a virus's destructive nature.The Windows 10 May 2019 Update is required.This page will show you how to use this feature.
Step 1: You can open the Windows Features dialog box.
In the search box, type in Turn Windows Features on or off.Pick the top result.
Step 2: Next to Windows Sandbox is a box.
Near the bottom of the page, this will be listed.The app is only available on Windows 10 Pro.
Step 3: You can choose OK.
This will be the start of the installation.
Step 4: It's time to restart your computer.
There should be a new app after restart.
Step 5: The Windows Sandbox app is needed to open it.
There is an icon in the shape of a sandbox.This can be found in the App list.
Step 6: Take a look at the malicious webpage.
You will need to find it on the internet.Microsoft Edge can be used to locate the virus.You may have to click on fake warnings to get the viruses.See Get a Computer Viruses for more information.
Step 7: The virus can be downloaded.
The virus will not harm your PC.The files in question can be cut and pasted onto the Sandbox's desktop.
Step 8: The virus can be run.
You can use the Game Bar to record the window.The files will be safe, and you can close the window to stop the virus from running.
