How To Run Command Prompt Commands from a Windows Shortcut
To create a Windows shortcut that runs a command at the command prompt, right-click the desktop and select "Shortcut"
Step 1: Click on a blank area.
Step 2: You can click Shortcut.
Step 3: You can type into the text box.
The command prompt window is kept open with the -k flag.If you want the window to close immediately, you can remove the flag.
Step 4: Press the spacebar.
Step 5: You can type the command.
When you double-click this shortcut, whatever command you type after %comspec% /k will run.When you double-click the shortcut, it will ping www.google.com.When you double-click the shortcut, %comspec% /k sfc scans all protected system files.
Step 6: You can click next.
Step 7: You can enter a name.
The text will be under the icon.If you use the shortcut, you could type in the name of the search engine.
Step 8: Click to finish.
You can now use the shortcut on your desktop.
Step 9: To run the command, double click the shortcut.
You can see your command running when the command prompt window appears.
Step 10: You can create a shortcut for the command.
