Step 4: Meet an animal control officer.

Step 8: If the dog is threatening, document it.
You could have been bitten by the dog.The unleashed dog has caused damage.If you are injured from a dog bite, you can bring a lawsuit.If a dog causes you to fall off a bike or car, you should document the injuries.Medical records and repair estimates can be obtained.Take color photographs of your injuries.
