How To Recover Deleted Files on Your Android Mobile
You can use your Windows or Mac computer to recover deleted files from your phone.Some files will most likely be corrupted or damaged when you recover them from a deleted file, so keep that in mind.
Step 1: The setup file is needed.
You can use Recuva to recover deleted files from your computer.Go to www.ccleaner.com/recuva to download it.Click the link on the left side of the page if you scroll all the way down.Click if you want to.
Step 2: You need to install Recuva.
The setup file needs to be double-clicked.Click when prompted.The "No thanks, I don't need CCleaner" box should be checked.You can check the "Reboot now" box.Wait for your computer to finish restarting.
Step 3: Plug your phone into the computer.
Attach the rectangular end of your phone's charging cable to one of the slots on your computer and plug the other end into the charging port.You should see a notification on your phone.If you don't see a notification on your computer or phone after a few seconds, try a different port.
Step 4: Put your phone in MTP mode.
You can either tap the "Connected as a media device" notification or the option.You may have to open the Notifications shade by moving your finger down from the top of the screen.
Step 5: The start can be open.
The Windows logo can be found in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Step 6: You can open file explorer.
There is a folder-shaped icon in the lower- left side of the Start window.
Step 7: Click here to go to the PC.
There is a tab on the left side of the file explorer window.The This PC folder contains links to all of the different pieces of hardware that are attached to your computer.
Step 8: You should look for your phone's name.
The "Devices and drives" heading is near the middle of the window.
Step 9: Click on your phone.
Doing so leads to a drop-down menu.
Step 10: Scan for deleted files.
You should see this option next to the Recuva icon.If you don't see this option, you cannot use your phone.If you want to recover deleted files, you'll need to remove the SD card from your phone, plug it in to your computer, and then right-click the card to open it.
Step 11: When prompted, click yes.
This will prompt Recuva to start scanning your phone for deleted files.
Step 12: Wait for the scans to finish.
Depending on how much storage you have and how many files you need to recover, this can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour.
Step 13: You can click on the "Filename" option.
There is a window in the top left corner.The recovered files will be selected here.Some of the files will be in bad shape.The recovered version of the file will be damaged if it is next to a red circle.
Step 14: Click Recover.
The bottom-right corner of the window has a button in it.There will be a pop-up window.
Step 15: Click on the window.
The pop-up window has it in the middle.Your recovery folder will be stored in your computer's Desktop.
Step 16: Click to make a new folder.
This is on the left side of the window.A recovery folder called "New folder" will be created on your computer.
Step 17: Click OK.
It is at the bottom of the window.The selected files will be recovered into the "New folder" folder on your PC's desktop.You can see them in the new folder once they finish recovering.You might have to click or be prompted before the recovery starts.
Step 18: Search for file recovery software.
Free data recovery software is not available for Mac computers.Wondershare Data Recovery for Mac is one of the popular programs.
Step 19: You can purchase the software.
Click on the option and enter your payment details.You will have to set up an account with the site before you can buy the software.Data recovery software can be purchased for less than $50.If possible, pay for the software with a credit or debit card instead of using it.
Step 20: You need to download and install the software.
If you install the software on your Mac, you can recover your files from your phone.
Step 21: Plug your phone into your computer.
Attach the rectangular end of your phone's charging cable to one of the slots on your computer, then plug the other end into the charging port.There should be a notification on your phone.If your Mac doesn't have any of the aforementioned slots, you'll need to use ausb 3.0 tousb-c to connect to your computer.
Step 22: You can place your phone in MTP mode.

Step 26: Follow any instructions on the screen.

Step 27: Start the recovery process.
Click the button if you want to recover your deleted files.Once the recovery is complete, you can usually move the recovered files onto your computer, and then transfer them to your phone.You can use a data recovery program to move the files back onto the phone.
