You can make online purchases and send money to friends and family with the help of PayPal.You can learn how to use your PayPal account to send money to other people on a computer, phone, or tablet.
Step 1: You can open the app on your phone or computer.
It's a blue icon with a white "P" that can be found on one of your home screens or in the app drawer.You can download the app for free if you don't have it installed.You can download the instructions on the screen if you tap.If you don't want to install the app, you can point your browser to a different website.
Step 2: You have to sign in to make a payment.
If you've signed in before, you will be asked to enter a password or use a Touch ID to log in.You need to sign in with your account.Before you can send money online, you need to create an account and add a payment method.Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account after clicking the link.For more information on setting up an account, see How to Use PayPal.You can learn how to connect your bank account, credit card, and debit card to PayPal.
Step 3: You can send it with the Send button.
There is cash and an arrow in the blue icon at the bottom of the page.If you're new to the app, you can tap the blue button at the bottom of the screen to make a payment.
Step 4: To import your contacts, follow the on-screen instructions.
You can easily send money to your contacts on your phones.Follow the on-screen instructions to grant permission.If you don't want to use your contacts, tap.
Step 5: You can enter or select a contact.
If the person you're sending money to is in your contacts, scroll down and select their email address or phone number.To make a payment, enter their email address or mobile phone number into the field at the top of the screen, and then tap it.You don't want to send money to the wrong person if you know the email address and phone number.If you want to send money to someone in another country, tap and then follow the on-screen instructions to make your payment using Xoom.
Step 6: The amount is entered.
To type the amount, use the on-screen keyboard.If the currency is incorrect, tap the drop-down menu to find an alternative.
Step 7: The Next button is blue.
It is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 8: You can choose a payment type.
To pay for something you're buying, choose to send a payment to someone you know.Payment fees are determined by the type of payment you make.Personal payments are fee-less, but paying for goods requires a small fee.
Step 9: tap Next if you want to use a payment method.
You'll be able to see all the payment methods you've connected to the account.Paying with a linked bank account is free.There will be a fee for credit and debit card payments.There is a fee below the payment type.The remainder of your payment will be taken from your default payment account if your PayPal balance is less than the amount you paid.
Step 10: Tap Send now if you want to review your payment.
If you want to send a message, tap below the amount.Once you've made sure the details are correct, tap the button at the bottom of the screen to send the money.Your payment will be sent to the recipient.If the recipient doesn't have a PayPal account, they'll have to create one.
Step 11: Go to paypal.com in your browser.
You can use any web browser to send money.
Step 12: Click here to log in.
It's on the right side of the page.
Step 13: You have to sign in to your account.

Step 14: You can click on the Send & Request tab.
It is at the top of the page.
Step 15: You can choose a payment option.
How the payment is processed and how fees are applied will be determined by the option you choose.If you want to process a payment, click here.The payment method has a fee for Purchase Protection.For personal reasons, click if you want to send money.The option is free.Money can be sent to someone in another country.This option requires the use of a third-party service.
Step 16: Click Next to enter the recipient's email address or phone number.
You don't want to send money to the wrong person if you know the email address and phone number.If you have sent money to this person in the past, you should click on the field.You can see a list of people you've paid for.
Step 17: Click Continue if you enter the amount.
Pick your location's currency from the drop-down menu.Pick the correct currency if it's incorrect.Anything you type into the "Add a note" field will be sent to the recipient.
Step 18: Take a moment to review your payment details.
You can see a summary of the payment on this screen.Before you send your payment, make sure to review all of the details.If the payment method isn't the one you want to use, click, select or enter an alternative, and then click to confirm.If you have enough money in your account, it will be used to make the payment.If your account balance doesn't cover the whole amount, you'll have to pay the rest from your default payment account.
Step 19: Click here to send payments.
Your payment will be sent to the recipient.If the recipient doesn't have a PayPal account, they'll have to create one.
