Step 1: In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, honey, and milk.
If you want more or less peanut butter balls, adjust accordingly.
Step 2: Roll mixture in small balls.
Who are we kidding?You can make them as big as you want.
Step 3: The ball can be rolled in crushed cornflakes, finely chopped nuts, or powdered sugar.
If you're new to the peanut butter ball, you may want to try all three and experiment with different levels of covering.When smothering the powdered sugar, you might think you want to go light on the sugar.
Step 4: For at least 20 minutes, place the paper on the fridge.
They will be better when it's cold.The party really gets started when they're chilled.

Step 8: Put into balls.
Depending on your preference, place each ball in a cupcake liner.Depending on how large you make them, you'll have around 30-50 balls.You have the option of covering them with powdered sugar, chocolate, or something else.
Step 9: Keep it refrigerated until firm.
They're better when chilled.Store in the fridge.If your family knows about them, they will only last a few days.
Step 10: The shortening and chocolate should be melted in a saucepan.
Don't let the bottom get hot if you stir constantly.Go to a wide-brimmed bowl after the mixture is completely melted.
Step 11: The melted chocolate should be spread over each peanut butter ball.
If you want them even more chocolate-y, throw the ball into the bowl and roll around with a fork.Place the bowl on wax paper or a cupcake liner.
Step 12: It's best to keep it refrigerated.
The peanut butter becomes more solid when it is cold.
