This method can be used to make yarn dread falls. It doesn't take a lot of yarn and works well.
Step 1: Pick out a base and accent colour.
Step 2: You can choose the same material as the yarn.
Step 3: You should cut the material to the length you want.
As the width of the material will get thinner as you wrap the yarn around it, you should bunch it before you cut it.
Step 4: Take a strand of material and secure it to the edge of a table top.
It's a good idea to secure the yarn with tape.
Step 5: Leaving 1/2 to 1 cm.
Attach yarn from the top to the material you choose.
Step 6: Wrap the yarn tightly around the material
If it is tight, you won't see gaps due to handling the falls over time. When you have wrapped the dread to the bottom, cut the yarn and leave a couple centimeters.Tie off the loose end with excess. You can estimate how much yarn you need for a strand, but it uses more yarn than you think, so leave it attached to the bundle until you're done with the strand.
Step 7: Continue until you have the number of strands you want.
Before securing the strands to the ribbon or elastic, make sure you have enough in your hand.A marker of 30 to 40 strands is recommended for dreads.
Step 8: If you sew your dreads to another material, they will fit together.
The downside of this method is that elastics can stretch over time.Cut out some funky patterned material and use it as a ribbon. You could use a real ribbon. You're ready to install your dreads once you sewed them into the material of your choice.
Step 9: You can either put your hair up in a high ponytail or two high pigtails.
Step 10: Wrap the ribbon of dreads around your existing ponytail or pigtail, now facing up, by flipping your head upside down.
Take your head back and tie a bow.The dread falls should be installed. If you have thicker hair, try to keep it straight so that you can see under the falls.Sometimes it lifts it, and sometimes it looks weird. If you have naturally thin hair, don't worry about hiding it because the falls will ruin it.
