Have you tried to make lip piercings, but they don't stay on, or people can tell they're fake? It's possible that your parents won't let you get a real one, you're afraid of getting one and so on.You've come to the right place. You can buy these materials from craft stores.
Step 1: Wrap earring wire around a pen.
You can either buy earring wire from a craft supply store or use a paperclip to unwound it.Wrap the wire around the pen twice and make 2 small loops. You will be able to adjust the size later on, so don't worry about making the loops fit your lip just yet.Wind the paper clip around the pen slowly to avoid snapping it in half. Before piercing the old wire or paper clip, wash it with rubbing alcohol or hand soap and water.
Step 2: An open loop can be made by cutting off the ends of the wire.
Remove the wire from the pen and then cut away the excess wire with wire cutter, leaving a small ring.Cut away the second loop so that you have one loop of wire with an opening in one side. You can use very sharp scissors if you don't have wire cutters. They may not cut as clean as wire cutters.
Step 3: Add dots of hot glue to the edges to make them sharper.
If you put the metal wire in right away, it will hurt your mouth.Either use a strong metal file to sand down the edges until they are dull, or add 1 dot of hot glue on either edge and wait for them to dry.You will be able to see the small dot of glue on the outside edge of your piercing if you use hot glue.
Step 4: The wire should be about as wide as your lip.
If you want the wire to fit around your lip, hold the loop of wire in your hands and bend it open with your fingers.Since earring wire or paper clips are not strong, it shouldn't be difficult to do.
Step 5: Move the opening over your lip to one side.
The ring should be positioned so that the open side rests against your lip.If you would like, you can adjust the size or position of it by sliding it downwards.A classic lip ring look can be achieved with a piercing on one side of the lip. It's best to keep it in the center of your lip.
Step 6: Use eyeliner to mark a spot on your lower lip.
You can choose where you want your lip stud to go, but most of the time it is below your bottom lip one or both sides.Make a small dot on your skin with liquid eyeliner so you can map out where you want your piercing to be, and try to place it on the skin that is just below your lower lip.If you don't have eyeliner, use eyelash glue to mark the spot.It is safe to use on your skin.If you want to make fake snake bites, put 2 studs under your bottom lip.If you want a fake Monroe piercing, add a stud to the right side of your lip.You can make a dot on your bottom lip for a classic lip piercing.
Step 7: The fake diamond should be put into eyelash glue.
A fake diamond or jewel with a flat back can be used to mimic a stud piercing.Pick it up with a pair of tweezers. It is okay to use eyelash glue for jewelry because it is safe for your skin. Most craft supply stores have fake diamonds.
Step 8: For about 10 seconds, press the fake diamond onto the dot you made.
Before you press it to your skin, make sure the jewel is where you want it.If you want the glue to stick to your skin, hold it onto your face for 10 seconds. While the glue is still wet, you can move the jewel if you don't want it in the exact spot you want.
Step 9: If you want to take it off, remove the glue with makeup remover.
Glue can be easily removed with eyelash makeup removal.Press the cotton swab against the fake piercing for about 10 seconds, then wipe the jewel away. You can reuse the fake jewel many times.
