How To Make a Reusable, Inexpensive, and Efficient Gravity Bong
The water/soda bottle bong is an update to the well-known, cheap and efficient method of smoking, the gravity bong. The burning of aluminum foil and melting of plastic is harmful and can be avoided with a more sustainable solution. It's portable, so you can take it wherever you please. The dimensions are for a specific size and volume. It is my preferred method as it is very potent and practical. In both the best and worst way possible, beware, as one hit (as if you can actually get even close to finishing the bottle) can and will end in getting first timers messed up.You've been warned. The dimensions given assure a snug fit for the water bottle. If you have a big enough container to submerge the 2-liter bottle, you can make a bong out of it.
Step 1: The sockets have usable sizes.
They are between 12” and 15mm in diameter.
Step 2: You can use the mouth of the water/soda bottle.
Step 3: Wrap masking tape around the sides of the sockets.
Step 4: To make sure a snug fit, add layers of tape.
Step 5: To make a bowl for tobacco, place metal gauze in the sockets.
Step 6: The water bottle has a hole in it.
Test the hole several times and pay special attention to it.Water will flow out too quickly if the hole is too big.The goal is to make the water flow out as slowly as possible to ensure that the smoke is at its densest, avoiding the waste of the vacuum generated in the bottle.
Step 7: The water bottle needs to be filled with water.
Step 8: Put bowl in bottle.
Your bong is ready to use.
Step 9: Get ready to pull the bottle up.
Step 10: Light contents of bowl while pulling up bottle slowly.
Allow time for the fire to spread.
Step 11: Pull off the bowl and inhale the contents of the bottle after the water has been drained.
Don't inhale too deeply because the smoke will be very potent.
Step 12: Push the bottle back down slowly as it can cause splash damage.
