People's definition of living varies. Some people believe that not being dead is actually existing. It is possible to live unhappily if you believe that living means not being dead.Find out how from step one.
Step 1: It's a good idea to drink water.
If you don't drink water or water-based fluids for four or five days, you will cease to live happily. You might not wake up.If you want to be happy, stick to water. You can become a little happier if you drink liquids that you enjoy.A cup of tea in a proper China tea cup, a cold glass of sparkling lemonade, something slightly quirky like freshly squeezed orange juice, or something else, can be a little treat to yourself to help you feel better. If you have an alcohol addiction, you may be able to live happily on purpose, while at the same time being happier in the long run.A small amount of alcohol might help you relax.
Step 2: Don't eat.
Eat to live. You will die if you don't eat.It will take more time than you think.A poor diet can shorten your life and make you unhappy. To live unhappily, eat whatever you please. If you want to cope better with living unhappily, you should eat a balanced diet.If you're not doing so well, treat yourself in moderation.A healthy, delicious meal can be very rewarding if you eat well.Set the table, use your best china, light some candles and make an event.
Step 3: If you want to change it, recognise isolation.
You will not be happy if you don't have friends or family.Losing touch with one another through arguments and disagreement is one of the reasons people lose friends. Many of the same reasons cause families to become disconnected. If you are lonely and isolated, try to get connected even if you're sad.If you want to try to tackle this, reach out.You have nothing to lose if you contact those you have lost touch with.Make a phone call and write a letter. You can join any community groups that are open to you, try your local place of worship, or attend a Sunday Assembly, where you can hear lectures and sing songs with no religion involved. If you want to become a regular at your local shop, go to the library, work in your garden, and chat with your neighbour, try it.It's easy to be trite about tackling loneliness, especially in the elderly or those who are geographically isolated, but it is important to remember that you have to help yourself first. Not everyone in internet communities is always helpful and supportive, so if you are a vulnerable individual, on line communities may not be for you.
Step 4: Know the benefits of fresh air.
If you can, get outside and live happily more easily. There are health benefits to fresh air and sunlight. It doesn't have to be in beautiful mountains or by amazing architecture.A walk around the block is a start. If you can, go to your local park.Take in your surroundings when you stroll.Take a moment to observe the change of seasons. If you want to remain unhappy, stay indoors, pull the curtains, and don't go out.
Step 5: Don't allow poor hygiene to make you sick.
If you want to get more out of being unhappy, try to maintain reasonable levels of personal hygiene. If you want to make it easier for yourself to live unhappily, try bathing and/or showering that you may see as a chore. It's easy to think about making yourself look good if no one notices or sees you.Just for yourself, you can look and smell good.Treat yourself to personal care products if you can.Have some time to use them.If you don't want to clean your teeth, you can stink.
Step 6: Take care of what you can in your home.
You might be living unhappily because you don't like where you live. It's possible that you don't like who you live with or how far away you are from loved ones.If you're not in a position to move house, it's difficult to tackle these issues.Try not to think about what you can't change. If your room is getting you down, clean it up.If it's possible, decorating may give you a boost. There are photos or artwork that have positive associations for you.If you want to live happily, you should stop cleaning and redecorate in black or grey.
Step 7: You should wear clothing that suits you.
If you are living unhappily, you might not be able to see the point in wearing anything other than a tee shirt and sweat pants. If you can, make more effort. If you think no one will see you, you should wear whatever you want.If you like to water your house plants, wear a ball gown or tuxedo.Wear things that you enjoy wearing, but won't be ridiculed for, if you live with or around others. What is up to you.If you like living unhappily, try hair shirts and underpants.
Step 8: You should be realistic about your finances.
If you're in debt and it's making you unhappy, get some advice. When it comes to debt, hiding your head in the sand is not helpful. When you are in financial hardship, responsible organizations are prepared to help you. They may be willing to take small, regular payments instead of large one-off payments.Get some help with budgeting.Debt counseling services, Citizens Advice Bureaus and similar organizations can help.
Step 9: Conflicts can be solved with those around you.
It's okay to forgive and forget.Arguments or disagreements are not productive.Put the hatchet down.Negative hatred or resentment should not be used for your energy.Even if you are the one in the right, it's easy to give up an argument. It is not worse to end a conflict with you as the loser than it is to continue it with both parties angry. The bigger the person, the more difficult it will be to live happily.Do something desirable that you don't really want to do, like work or do a good deed, and then go somewhere else.Take control of your purpose, and set a course for somewhere worthwhile, because unhappiness can take you farther than you want to go.
Step 10: See if the new day presents problems or opportunities.
If you wake up in the morning and don't hurt anyone or do anything immoral, then you're free to do what you want. You may not be contributing to society because you don't have a job, do not get good grades, or have children, but there are many other reasons why you may be living unhappily. If you're not dealing drugs, vandalizing property, defrauding the government, abusing your children, or doing any other criminal activities, you deserve a pat on the back and credit for not being a scum bag.
Step 11: Be aware that boredom is personal.
If you see it as an opportunity, you can do something about it.Being bored is normal. It's possible to put something old in a new place and have a reason to keep on.
Step 12: There is a possibility that this is not the case.
Act like things matter until they do, and expect to create something that you want.It is action that gets action. If not now, do you have a good plan?
