How To Keep a Secret Organization Secret

Please read if you know of an organization that you want to keep a secret from the rest of the people around you.

Step 1: In the beginning stages of forming a secret organization, plan it with people you know and trust.

It's not a good idea to include someone you've just met.If you've just met someone, you do not know them.

Step 2: Pick a name.

Your organization's name should not depict your ultimate goal, as it is a secret organization, and having someone figure out what you're all about would be a bad scenario.It shows a lack of creativity if you choose a name that is a copy or similar to a band, movie, or non- secret organization.Try to steer clear of Anagrams and Initials.

Step 3: There is a list of rules.

Make it clear that the leader is expected to follow the code of conduct and the list of rules.There is a policy in place for breaking these rules, such as the three strike rule.

Step 4: It's a good idea to have an initiation process, but don't make it painful or humiliating.

You want your members to be healthy and happy.

Step 5: Making everyone swear to keep this a secret.

No telling, no hints, and no 20 questions-style interrogations are what this means.If they break this rule, you can demote them, evict them from the group, or worse, depending on the level of importance to you and your members.

Step 6: You don't have to give someone special treatment just because you like them better than the others.

If they break a rule, give them the same punishment you would give someone else.This includes you.You should give yourself the same punishment if you break a rule.You don't have to be exempt from messing up just because you lead this organization.

Step 7: Follow your own rules.

Don't say that you have a secret.If you want to try to recruit someone, you should do it in a way that has already been discussed by the group.

Step 8: Anyone you know will disrupt the group if you try to recruit.

To make sure no one else has a problem with it, talk it over with your members.If someone has a problem, ask them to give you their reasoning.

Step 9: It's a good idea to keep your organization quiet.

There shouldn't be any advertisements for it.If you and another member are going to talk about it outside of the meeting area, you should do it in a place where you won't be noticed.

Step 10: It's a good idea to avoid suspicion.

Take a break if someone has noticed you and your fellow members more than you would normally be.It's a good idea to spend time away from each other.Do not just suddenly stop spending time with each other, but do it in stages.

Step 11: Don't say anything at all.

Someone may call you a secret organization based on a wild guess or true suspicion."Yes, I'm in one."It's not even 'Maybe.'This will make them suspicious.When someone is defensive, it is a good sign that they are either lying or care too much about the subject at hand."Duh, of course I'm in a secret organization, isn't everyone?" is a sarcastic way of admitting.It works well to put off further questions and is, on occasion, hilarious.

Step 12: If a member leaves your organization, make sure they don't tell anyone.

When people are hurt, they tend to do things they later regret, such as becoming a loudmouth, and try to make their leaving process that harbors little to no hard feelings.

Step 13: Don't publish anything about your organization on the internet.

It can be found.It's a good idea to keep records of what happens during meetings, but they should be written on a typewriter.If you prohibit flash drives, floppy disks, and any other items that can store information from a computer on it, in your meeting area, you can keep your records on the computer that is unacceptable to the internet.
