Step 1: Open your computer.
Wait until it loads and displays its desktop screen.
Step 2: The status tray has your account picture on it.
There is a tray at the bottom of the desktop.A small pop-up menu will appear when you click the picture.
Step 3: Go to the pop-up menu and click on the settings.
On a new window, your device setting will open.
Step 4: You can open advanced settings.
Click on the link at the bottom of the settings window to show advanced settings.There will be more settings on the lower half of the window.
Step 5: You can choose to powerwash.
Click on the powerwash button at the end of the window when you scroll down the settings window again.The procedure called Powerwash clears all saved data and user settings from the Chromebook.
Step 6: It's time to restart your Chromebook.
A small window prompt will tell you that you need to restart your device.Click on the restart button if you want to continue.
Step 7: Wait for the computer to start.
When it restarts, a message will appear on the screen asking you to confirm your actions.The Powerwash process will proceed if you click "Reset" on the message box.
Step 8: Wait for the Chromebook to finish.
This will be done in a few minutes.The Powerwash process will allow you to use your Chromebooks again.
