Step 1: Take a look at your current score.
If you tap the profile icon in the top left corner of the screen, you will see your current score below your name on the page. You can use the score to see how many snaps you've sent and received.
Step 2: Send pictures frequently.
Your snap score increases by one point for every snap that you send, so make snapping your friends a part of your day.You will get 6 points for your first snap after the hiatus if you don't use the app for a few days.
Step 3: It's a good idea to snap multiple friends at the same time.
You receive a point for each friend to whom you send a snap, and you'll often receive an additional point when sending the snap itself. You can tap friends' names after taking a snap and tapping the white "Send" arrow. When you tap the "Send" arrow again, each person you select will receive your snap. The more people you send snaps to, the more snaps you can open back.
Step 4: Unread snaps can be opened.
Every time you open a snap, you get one point. To open a snap, tap the red or purple box next to the sender's name.Extra points won't be given for replaying snaps.
Step 5: Sending direct messages is not advisable.
Sending a direct message throughSnapchat does not increase your score. If you want to avoid sending chat messages, you can tap a chat message from a friend and then use the Capture button above the keyboard to take a photo.
Step 6: You can add snaps to your story.
You get another point every time you add a snap.To add a snap to your story, tap the "Send" arrow on a completed snap, then use the circle in the upper- left corner of the recipients screen.
Step 7: You can add friends on the app.
For each friend request that you accept, you'll get one point. This isn't a long-term strategy, but it's good to know when you're starting out.If you add public figures such as celebrities, you may not receive a point for every friend.
