She has long, gorgeous hair. She puts it up into a gorgeous braid if she wears it loose. It is not feasible to get long hair for a tower, but it is possible to do a similar braid. The braid is easy to do, even though it looks fancy. It is perfect for formal occasions, such as weddings.
Step 1: Make sure your hair is free of knots and tangles by brushing it.
It works best with long hair.Your hair color doesn't matter; you can do any hair you want.
Step 2: Get some hair extensions.
The longest extensions you can find are about 30 inches.Make sure they match your hair color. You need to make sure that you are using the weft type extensions. If you have long hair, you can skip the extensions.Extra volume won't hurt.
Step 3: You can clip the extensions.
At about ear level, use the handle of a rat-tail to part your hair.If you want to clip the longest weft to the back of your head, you have to twist the top section out of the way.Add another extension after letting down another layer of hair. This process can be used to add more extension to the back and sides of your head. You don't have to use all of the extensions if you already have long hair.Until you get the volume you want, use enough.
Step 4: Curl your hair.
You can use a 34-inch curling iron instead of a 1-inch one.Curl your hair.Work your way to the back from the front. It's not necessary to make your hair curly; something between loose curls and tight waves is ideal. It will add volume to your braid. If you prefer, you can use alternate methods. You can skip this step if you already have curly or wavy hair.
Step 5: To fluff the curls, comb them.
If you added extensions, be careful.Don't get carried away with the curly hair, just comb it with your finger or wide-toothed comb.Don't touch the hair because it will become messy.
Step 6: Attach the handle of a rat-tail comb to your hair.
If you prefer, you can part your hair to the right or left.To start the part above one eyebrow, angle it towards the middle of the back of your head.
Step 7: Start a braid on the side of your head.
Start on the left or right side.Take the hair from in front of your ear and divide it into three strands.Under the middle strand, cross the top and bottom strands. The crown braid will eventually lead to the big braid. There will be a big braid in the next section. If you are starting from the side with more hair, keep your braid loose so that you don't lose the "bump" made by the part.
Step 8: For three stitches do a Dutch lace braid.
A Dutch lace braid is similar to a regular Dutch braid, except that you only add hair to one of the strands.Attach a thin strand of hair to the bottom strand. The middle strand is under the bottom strand.Don't add anything to the middle strand, cross the top strand under it.If you do this two more times, stop.
Step 9: A regular braid is used to finish off.
If you braid enough, you can wrap the braid around the side of your head and the back. Most people will be half-way down the strand. The braid should be secured with a clear hair elastic.
Step 10: The process should be repeated on the other side of your head.
After a regular braid, do a Dutch lace braid for three stitches and add hair to the bottom strand.Wrap it up with a clear hair tie.
Step 11: You can put both braids behind your head.
Wrap the mini braids around the left and right side of your head. They need to be secured with a clear hair tie.Pull the braided hair out from under the hair tie.
Step 12: The ponytail needs to be changed.
The two braids have your finger behind them.Bring it back down through the gap by hooking it around the ponytail. This is similar to a topsy-turvy ponytail. It will give the crown some movement.
Step 13: The crown braid needs to be misted.
This will help set the style so that it doesn't come undone.
Step 14: There are two thin sections behind your ears.
You need to extend these sections from behind your ears to the corner of your nape.If you don't gather hair from the front, you will make them too thick. These sections should be secured with hair ties or hair clips. You don't use these sections until later. You have to do this now so that you don't include them in the main braid.
Step 15: The crown braid ends where you begin a braid.
Take the hair from the same row that the crown braid ended in.If you want to do a half up, half down ponytail, pull your hair towards the back of your head. The braid crosses the left and right strands under the middle section. The crown braid is included in this.
Step 16: Dutch braid.
Cross the right strand under the middle one to get some hair into it.Cross the strand under the middle one if you want to get more hair into the left strand.Continue until you get to the nape of your neck.
Step 17: Continue with a regular braid.
About halfway through, gently tug on the outer loops of your braid to fluff them up.Continue braiding until you reach the end of your hair, then secure it with a hair tie that matches your color.
Step 18: The braid needs to be fluffed up.
Pull on the outer loops from the bottom of your braid.Go up towards your nape and then up the Dutch braid.
Step 19: It's a good idea to lightly mist your Dutch braid.
This will keep your braid from coming undone during the final part.
Step 20: The two thin sections should be erased.
Do you remember the two sections you gathered from behind your ears?Don't clip or untie those sections. If necessary, comb them.
Step 21: Each section is braided separately.
There is nothing special about these braids.Simply braid the left section until you reach the end, secure it with a clear hair elastic, then do the right one.You will end up with two braids.
Step 22: Wrap the mini braids around the main braid.
The left and right mini braids should be on the back of your neck.Wrap them around the main braid.Make an X by crossing them over the main braid. If possible, cross them again under the braid. If you have long hair, you may only be able to do this once or twice. You could use loose extensions to bulk up the braid. If you braid your extensions into your hair, you don't have to attach them.
Step 23: The mini braids should be pulled through the main braid.
Push the mini braids through one of the stitches on the main braid when you have criss-crossed them as much as possible.
Step 24: The mini braids should be joined into one braid.
First, remove the hair elastics from the mini braids. To make a single strand, join the braids together.braid what's left after splitting that strand into three sections. The mini braid needs to be secured with a clear hair elastic. The two mini braids are only being braided together. The main braid should be left alone.
Step 25: Attach the mini braid to the main braid with a pin.
Wrap a thin strand of hair around the hair tie and secure the main braid. The end of the strand should be pinned with a pin.
Step 26: There are flowers in your braid.
Artificial flowers or fresh ones can be used.If this is for a costume or cosplay, try to match the flowers to the ones in the movie. You should match the flowers to your dress if this is another occasion.Place the largest flowers on the top of the braid. You can add smaller flowers to your crown. If you are using fake flowers, remove the stems and push the stub through the looped part of a bobby pin.
