The free version of Crello can be used to design a professional looking post.You can either use the website on your computer or the mobile app that's available in the App Store and the Play Store.
Step 1: In a web browser, go to https://crello.com/create/instagram-post/.
If you use the free version as a trial, you'll be able to get more images, videos and animations, as well as the ability to create teams for $7.99 per month.
Step 2: Click to create your first design.
There is a yellow button under the heading "It's Easy to Make Magnetic Instagram Posts."To create an account, you'll be directed to a page.
Step 3: You can create a Crello account.
Everyone can use Crello for free as long as they have an account.
Step 4: You can choose a template.
To get started, choose how you want the post to look, you can change the elements in the template later.You can change the size of the post by clicking on the right corner in the blue toolbar.The drop-down menu on the left side of the page allows you to change the category of your post.You might want to pick the category "Nature & Wildlife" if you're posting about space facts.The templates that say "Free" are the only ones that can be used in a free account.
Step 5: You can modify the template as you please.
The features in the template can be edited with a click.If you choose a category in your template, all the tabs for editing it will be in that category.You can find free images in the top right corner of the thumbnail if you click or browse through the menu.Other images will cost more or require Crello Pro to use.If you want to use a plain color background, you'll most likely need a premium account, since most of the Photos and Patterns background costs $0.99.You can either add your own text by using the Styles and Badges tabs or you can click on an existing text box.You can add or remove objects in this tab.Click an object in your template and click the trashcan icon to remove it.To find an object to add to your template, navigate through Shapes, Icons, Illustrations, Lines, Frames, Stickers, and Masks.It should say "Free" in the top right corner of the thumbnail.
Step 6: Click to download.
You can see this in the top right corner of your browser.
Step 7: To download your template, click on the file format you want.
You can choose to download the template in a variety of formats.The most common format here is JPG.If you have transparent elements in your template, pick the transparent one.
Step 8: You should save your file.
Your file browser will allow you to choose a location for your file as well as change its name.
Step 9: The Crello mobile app can be downloaded from either the App Store or the Play Store.
You will be able to quickly and easily design a post with the templates in this free app.The service has a free and paid subscription.Premium features, like animated posts, can be found in a free subscription for the first 2 months.
Step 10: It is possible to open Crello.
The app icon has a dashed square on a blue background.You can find it on one of your Home screens or in the app drawer.
Step 11: You can either log in or create a free account.
If you don't have an account, tap at the bottom of the screen.A free account doesn't require a credit card.
Step 12: The blue diamond has a plus sign inside.
Near the bottom of your screen, you'll see this.
Step 13: You can tap on the post.
Under the heading "Social media posts," you'll see this.
Step 14: Start with a template design.
The larger version of the thumbnail will be shown when you tap an image.Premium templates and free templates are marked with the word "free" in the lower right corner, when you create an account and use the mobile app.To proceed, tap to do so.
Step 15: You can change the template as you please.
The features in the template can be edited with a tap at the bottom of your screen.The element in the template can be edited directly.If you want to remove a block of text from a template, you can tap the trashcan icon in the editing menu above the template.You can either tap or browse through the menu to find images that say "Free" in the top right corner of the thumbnail.Unless you've created a new account and are using the mobile app, other images will cost extra.If you tap the checkmark, you can add a filter or effect to the photo.You can either add your own text by using the Styles and Badges tabs, or you can edit existing text with a text box.You can add or remove objects in this tab.To remove an object from a template, tap the trashcan icon.To find an object to add to your template, navigate through Shapes, Icons, Illustrations, Lines, Frames, Stickers, and Masks.
Step 16: The box has an arrow pointing out of it.
This can be seen in the top right corner of your screen.
Step 17: You can either share it or download it.
You can share the image directly to compatible apps on your phone, which will appear as icons on the pop-up menu.You can save the file to your phone so you can use it later.If you download the file, your phone will save it.
