Family Sharing can be used to create an Apple ID for a child, and you can learn how to set it up here.
Step 1: Open the settings on your device.
The gear icon is on one of the home screens.There is a folder called Utilities.
Step 2: Go down and then tap the cloud.
You may have to scroll down a few times to find it.
Step 3: Set up family sharing.
When you set up Family Sharing, you become the familyorganizer, which means you can add a child account for which you have full administrative control.
Step 4: Get started.
Step 5: Continue if you want to be the family's organizers.
If you see a different account listed than your own, click on the link at the bottom that says "Not porn" or sign in.
Step 6: Continue if you want your purchases to be made available to the family.
If you want it on multiple family members' devices, you won't have to pay for it twice.
Step 7: Your credit card information will be entered.
It is necessary to prove that you are an adult.Continue to confirm that you want to use the card on file if you already entered your credit card information.
Step 8: Share your location with us.
Your family can see where you are in Find My Friends.You will return to the Family screen when finished.If you don't want to share your location, tap Not Now.
Step 9: You can create an Apple ID for a child.
You may have to scroll down to find it.
Step 10: The child's birth date can be entered.
Step 11: Agree to accept the parental disclosure.
Step 12: tap Next if you want to verify your credit card information.
Step 13: tap Next if you want to enter your child's name.
Step 14: You can enter an apple id for your child.
Your child's name will be used to sign in to Apple devices and services.
Step 15: To set up a new password, follow the instructions on the screen.
Step 16: If you want to ask to buy, tap Next.
Your child will need your permission to make purchases on the App Store.
Step 17: Your child's location is displayed in Find My Friends.
Only family members can see your child's location.If you don't want location sharing for your child, tap Not Now.
Step 18: Accept the terms and conditions.
Your child's account is ready to use once this step is complete.Your child will be able to sign in to any Apple device with their new Apple ID.
Step 19: You can click on the Apple menu.
The menu bar at the top of the screen has a black apple-shaped icon on it.
Step 20: Click System Preferences.
Step 21: Click on it.
If you don't see this option, you can click the button that looks like three rows of dots at the top of the screen.
Step 22: Click on the family you want to set up.
Underneath your name and photo is a sign on the screen.When you set up Family Sharing, you become the familyorganizer, which means you can add a child account for which you have full administrative control.If you have already set up Family Sharing, you will see Manage Family.Go to step 11 and click this.
Step 23: Click Continue after reading the description of Family Sharing.
Step 24: To confirm you want to organize the family, click Continue.
The family organizer is able to add people to the family.
Step 25: Click Continue to confirm that your purchases will be available on your family's devices.
Step 26: Click Continue to enter your credit card information.
Your card will not be charged if you add an Apple ID for a child.If you already have a credit card associated with your account, it should appear here with the last 4 digits visible.
Step 27: Should you share your location with other family members?
Other members of your family will be able to see you if you choose to share your location.
Step 28: Click Continue.
You can return to the Family Sharing screen now.
Step 29: Click if you want to add a family member.
If you have a version of macOS, the appearance of the button may be different.
Step 30: A child who doesn't have an account can create an Apple ID.
Step 31: Enter your child's information into the screen.
From the menus, choose your child's birthday.A new Apple ID is required for your child to log into Apple products and services.If you want to verify a new password, enter it.You can find your child under Find my Friends if you put a check next to it.Click Continue.
Step 32: The account setup can be completed by following the prompts.
You need to create security questions, confirm your credit card, and accept the Apple ID agreement.The Family Sharing screen will be returned to when the setup is complete.
Step 33: On the left side of Family Sharing, you can click on your child's account.
Step 34: Make sure the phrase "Ask to Buy" is checked.
Every purchase your child makes from the App Store oriTunes will prompt you to give permission.
Step 35: Click Done.
Your child can use their new password to sign in to any Apple service.
