Acorn squash is both sweet and delicious.It pairs well with molasses or brown sugar.There are various ways to prepare summer squash.
Step 1: The oven should be at 400 degrees F.
On a cutting board, use a chef's knife to cut the acorn squash in half.
Step 2: From the center of each half, scoop out the seeds and stringy portion.
Place each half in a pan.Butter the pan or spray it with a non-stick spray to prevent the squash from sticking to it.
Step 3: Spread butter on each half of the squash.
The brown sugar and maple syrup should be spread evenly.
Step 4: It took about an hour in the oven.
The squash should be very soft.Allow the oven to cool before serving.
Step 5: Place squash on a plate in the microwave.
The squash should be turned over and microwaved for another 4 minutes.
Step 6: The squash needs to be removed from the microwave.

Step 7: Spread butter on half of them.
Brown sugar is put on each half.
Step 8: For another 3 minutes, microwave the squash.
Don't put it in the microwave.Allow to serve.

Bring the squash to a boil.The heat should be reduced to a minimum.
Step 10: For another 15 minutes, continue to cook.
When squash is finished, it should be soft.
Step 11: The pot needs to be drained.
The skin of squash can be removed with a cutting board.Return to the pot.
Step 12: Add butter and sugar.
To whip the squash, use a fork.
Step 13: The oven should be at 450 degrees F.
Step 14: Place the acorn squash on the baking tray after cutting it in half.
Place squash on the tray if the baking tray is adequately covered with cooking spray.
Step 15: The squash should be baked for 45 minutes.
Step 16: Combine chicken stock, apple cider, and horseradish in a saucepan.
Bring these ingredients to a boil.
Step 17: Add the squash flesh to the soup.
Step 18: The stock mixture can be pureeed with a hand blender.
It's a good idea to break up large squash pieces.If you don't have a hand blender, place squash in a food processor with 1 cup of chicken stock.Puree until the large chunks are gone.
Step 19: Peel, core, and dice your apples.
Step 20: Add apples, lemon juice, and horseradish to a small bowl.
Add thoroughly.
Step 21: Cook diced apple mixture in a pan with olive oil spray.
Once a golden brown coat emerges, remove from heat.
Step 22: Acorn squash soup with apple dice can be served.
