You will learn how to contact a seller on eBay before and after you purchase an item, since the process for each is a little different.You can send a message with either the mobile app or web browser.
Step 1: Go to www.ebay.com in a web browser or open the eBay app.
You can do this with any web browser.If necessary, log in.You need to log in to contact the seller.
Step 2: You can find the item you want.
You can either browse the Home screen or use the search function to find what you're looking for.
Step 3: Click or tap to contact the seller.
To the right of the item's description is a box that contains more information about the seller.If you scroll down and tap the "About The Seller" section, you will see the contact button at the bottom of the screen.If you don't log in, you will be prompted to do so.
Step 4: If you want to contact the seller, select other.
You will need to look through articles that may or may not answer your question when you first choose to contact seller."Contact Seller" will appear as an option if "Other" is marked.
Step 5: You can type your question, comment, or concern to the seller.
Make sure to include the item you're looking at purchasing and any other details that may be important in the message they will see in their inbox.If you want this message sent to your email, you need to select "Send a copy to my email address".
Step 6: Select the message you want to send.
You can see a copy of the sent message in the message center.
Step 7: Go to www.ebay.com in a web browser or open the eBay app.
You can do this with any web browser.If you have to, log in.You will need to log in to see your purchase history.
Step 8: Purchase history.
You can get a drop-down that shows "Purchase History" on the website.The three-line menu icon is found on the mobile app.
Step 9: Click if you want to contact the seller.
Next to the purchased item is this listed.Click or tap the item if you don't see it here.
Step 10: I want to send a message to the seller.
You need to click on the message to send it to the seller after you've filled out the form.
